Each year, the San Diego Press Club honors individuals for exceptional service and commitment to the media industry.

Do you know someone worthy of this career award? Make it possible and nominate them!

It’s easy. Provide us the person’s name, job title, and a short nomination essay of three to five paragraphs telling the San Diego Press Club why the winner is worthy of recognition. Email it to us. Really, we can’t make it any simpler!

The individual must work or live in the San Diego market and must not be a previous winner. See the full list of winners on our website.

Nominate in three career award categories:

Harold Keen Award for Outstanding Contribution in Journalism: Given to the journalist who has throughout their career shown a high degree of professionalism, and gone above and beyond standard practices for the sake of fairness and truth telling.

Andy Mace Award for Outstanding Contribution in Public Relations: Awarded to a Public Relations/Marketing professional who has exemplified a high ethical standard of fairness and integrity, and over the course of their career has effectively disseminated the truth on behalf of their clients to the general public.

Jim Reiman Enlightened Media Management Award: Goes to the boss or supervisor who shows exceptional leadership or managerial skills to promote a positive, creative, and healthy work environment.
