After two years of virtual programs, the 49th Annual Awards brought together Press Club members and friends for a celebration under the stars on the lawn in the middle of the International Houses in Balboa Park.

At this unique location, 400 award-winning journalists and communicators mix and mingle among the charming cottages, savoring tastes from San Diego’s stellar restaurants and wineries.

The much-anticipated event honors the excellent work of hundreds of active San Diego County media and communications professionals, recognizes budding student journalists and honors the lifetime achievements of veteran industry professionals.
The evening promises warm reunions, shared congratulations, and, this being a San Diego Press Club event, lots of fun and laughs. Just what we all need now.
