The 50th Annual San Diego Press Club Excellence in Journalism Awards was an unqualified triumph at the International Houses in Balboa Park.

Award-winning journalists and communicators picked up their plaques and certificates while savoring tastes from San Diego’s stellar restaurants and wineries among the charming cottages.
The Special Awards were presented: Harold Keen Award for Journalistic Excellence to Diane Bell, the Andy Mace Award for Excellence in Public Relations to Georgeanne Irvine.

After two years of celebrating virtually, the San Diego Press Club 49th Annual Excellence in Journalism Awards will be a celebration under the stars on the lawns of the International Houses in Balboa Park on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.
At this unique location, we will all meander among the charming cottages, savoring tastes from San Diego’s stellar restaurants and wineries. The evening promises warm reunions, shared congratulations, and this being a Press Club event, lots of fun and laughs. Just what we all need now. Right?
